De-duplication match process through DeDuplix manages large volumes of data and match quality issues, using the principle of divide and rule, supported by harmonizing logic. The harmonizing logic uses region specific phonetic methodologies, cleansing techniques, string distance measures and business rules defined in consultation with the client. For the same client, business rules can differ for different objectives. Scalability is ensured through database re-engineering and partitioning techniques using software heuristics. DeDuplix works with a variety of Databases like Oracle 10G, DB2 and SQL Server.

Like Scrubbix, after legacy database de-duplication, DeDuplix can act as a "gatekeeper", to ensure that unwanted matter and duplicates do not creep in. For example, at a telecommunications company, the DeDuplix license ensures that any new activation request would be matched with the continuously updated old defaulters' list to ensure that debts are collected before permitting an ex-customer re-entry into the system as a new account.
